The comfortable private dining area seats 22 people. It has a reversible air con unit , which both cools in the summer and heats in the winter. In our other dining areas, we can accommodate 24 in the bar, up to 11 in the 'Snug' and 14 in the 'Old Office'. We have high chairs for infants, which is the equivalent of one seated diner. A baby in a buggy is also the equivalent of one seated diner, so please mention either or both of these when booking.

The dining area, 'Snug' and 'Old Office' are available for private functions - anniversaries, birthdays and funeral receptions. We also welcome walking groups anytime of the day, though it would be helpful if they could phone ahead. For outside dining in the summer, we have a range of comfortable tables and chairs on the front terrace, plus seating for up to 40 on our side decking area overlooking the stream.

Please note that we are not a large pub, so our ability to accommodate ‘baby buggies’ is restricted, especially on Sundays. If you’ve got a portable car seat, baby sling or carrier, so much the better. We welcome well behaved dogs on a lead in the bar area, but not in our restaurant, ‘Snug’ and ‘Old Office’ dining areas, unless it’s a support dog.
